At Cast7, we believe that for induration furnace replacement parts, casting precision and casting quality are paramount. As your reliable partner, we are committed to upholding quality control standards,

Testing incoming Raw Materials Quality

Qbjective:

To guarantee the chemical consistency of materials received from our suppliers and ensure they meet specified criteria for use in customer-required melts.

Method:

We achieve this by testing the materials through a chemical analysis mass spectrometer, executed by machine burning pieces of the material to evaluate the chemical composition.

Frequency:

This testing is conducted for every batch of scrap material that arrives at our facility, with extensive testing performed on new or trial materials.

Melt Quality

Qbjective:

Ensuring that the melt process consistently meets specifications, with a focus on temperature control, deoxidization, and the removal of impurities.

Method:

Multiple temperature measurements are taken throughout the melting process, and material samples are tested to ensure they adhere to customer specifications before pouring the metal. Deoxidization is carried out using deoxidizing agents, and slag removal is performed to prevent impurities from entering molds.

Frequency:

Temperature measurements are conducted before pouring, using a high-heat temperature probe, adhering to ASTM standards for temperature ranges. Deoxidization and slag removal are integral steps in every melt produced at Cast7.

Mechanical Quality (Test Pieces)

Qbjective:

Evaluating the strength and hardness of materials through tensile and Brinell testing.

Method:

Testing is carried out either in-house or sent to an external laboratory.

Frequency:

This testing is conducted upon customer request.

Sand Quality

Qbjective:

Ensuring the quality of sand and the efficient operation of the sand reclaim system to achieve the best quality for molds.

Method:

Testing is performed through soda and fines testing, at a daily frequency.

Frequency:

Sand quality is checked 1-2 times daily.

Quality Procedures for Mold Consistency

Qbjective:

Guaranteeing that castings conform to customer prints and specifications by maintaining consistent mold quality.

Method:

Achieved through precision-machined mold locks for alignment, continuous monitoring, adjustments to maintain proper pressure, and the use of inter-machine mounted cameras for visual inspection.

Frequency:

These procedures are conducted as needed and used daily.

Automatic Robotized Finishing of Castings

Qbjective:

Delivering precise and repeatable surface finishes on castings, reducing physical labor, and optimizing product lead time and efficiency.

Method:

Utilizing automated robotic finishing cells throughout the facility.

Frequency:

This process runs daily.

Preventing and Detecting Hidden Faults in Castings

Qbjective:

Ensuring customers receive high-quality castings that meet their specifications and avoiding premature wear and operational failures.

Method:

Achieved using engineering solidification and porosity analysis software, engineering reviews and checks for new products, and training operators to identify signs of potential hidden defects in castings.

Frequency:

These measures are applied daily and as needed to maintain quality and safety standards
