Who will you be working with?

As a Foundry Operator, you’ll be part of a skilled production team dedicated to manufacturing high-quality stainless steel castings for customers across a variety of industries. You’ll work alongside experienced molders, melters, grinders, quality inspectors, maintenance technicians, and supervisors who are committed to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Success in this role comes from communicating effectively with your teammates, supporting one another throughout the production process, and taking pride in producing castings that meet our customers’ high standards.

Our Foundry Operators are essential to producing precision stainless steel castings that become critical components in industries such as mining and industrial equipment.

By following safe work practices, maintaining quality standards, and operating equipment efficiently, you’ll help ensure our customers receive reliable products on time. Every casting you help produce contributes to the reputation and success of our company.

Day shift operates Monday through Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm. Afternoon shift operates Monday through Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm. OT is possible depending on production needs.

What do we want to know about you?

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED
• Prior manufacturing work experience is helpful

What will your typical day look like?

No two days are exactly alike, but a typical day may include:

• Following all safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Reviewing production priorities with your supervisor and team.
• Preparing molds, cores, and materials for production.
• Operating foundry equipment and performing assigned production tasks.
• Handling, cleaning, or processing stainless steel castings, depending on your assigned work area.
• Inspecting your work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Recording production information and communicating any concerns to your supervisor.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area using good housekeeping practices.
• Assisting teammates and cross-training in multiple foundry operations as needed.
• Participating in continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

What about the physical demands of the job?

• Wear correct PPE – earplugs, protective eye wear, steel-toed boots, and work provided uniform (gloves when necessary). Additional gear may be needed for specific tasks.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Stand on concrete for 8-10 hours.
• Work in high heat conditions.
• Practice and maintain safe work conditions.

Additional Information

The hourly range for this role is between $20.00 – $25.00. The actual hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
